Duet
Existimos com o outro, num conflito que aproxima amor e morte. Está presente uma luta que implica esta relação, e só assim podemos viver uma verdade na intimidade. A possibilidade de viver essa verdade no nosso horizonte nunca pode ser feita sem estarmos dispostos a passar pela crueza da mutação que desfigura a própria noção de
corpo utópico. Esta metamorfose só acontece em conjunto e contra o corpo do outro, e nela reside a violência oculta de uma subversão de papéis.
Aqui, o corpo expõe-se na crueza de existir a partir do nada, e assim surgir o tudo. Perde-se na incompreensão transparente da sua fragilidade e subverte este significado na provocação pervertida da diferença. A dança que emerge da deformação íntima do estado do corpo observado. Nunca seremos mais do que o que somos nus.
Dueto é uma peça de dança criada por Diana Niepce, que estreou em Dezembro de 2020 no CCB.

We exist with each other, in a conflict that brings love and death closer together. There is a struggle that involves the relationship with the other, and only then can we live a truth in intimacy. The possibility of experiencing this truth on our horizon can never be done without the willingness to go through the crudeness of mutation that disfigures the very notion of the utopian body. This metamorphosis only happens together and against the body of the other, and in it lies the hidden violence of a subversion of roles.
Here, the body exposes itself in the crudeness of arising from nothing, and thus becoming everything. It is lost in the transparent incomprehension of its fragility and subverts this
meaning in the perverted provocation of difference. A dance that emerges from the intimate deformation of the state of the observed body. We will never be more than what we are naked.
